One Day Dynamo Challenge

One Day Dynamo Challenge

I was making my rounds of the forums the other day and found a particularly useful post in the Tony Robbins forums. The fellow found a way to enrich each day's productivity by challenging himself each single day, as a separate entity to enjoy and fulfill.

What a novel idea? Live each day one at a time. Duhhh. Why didn't I think of that? LOL! Anyway here is an excerpt of his post and a link at the bottom to the follow up posts made.

Excerpted From A Post On The Tony Robbins Forums

That's where the "One Day Dynamo Challenge" comes into play. I figure that this particular challenge will give us all another chance to really push ourselves, but with a better opportunity for more "wins."

So, here is the challenge:

1. List three empowering questions for the day that will drive you to accomplish to the best of your ability today.

2. Answer those three questions.

3. Commit to yourself and to all of us on this board that you will take specific, bold actions today that will make this very day an amazing accomplishment.

4. Report back at the end of the day and let us all know how you did, what you learned, etc.

Here is my own personal example for the day:

Questions:

1. What can I do today to achieve more with this day than anyone else could ever reasonably expect of me?

(Answer). I can remain focused and driven without ever letting up today. I can do this in spite of any fears I might have. I can have a "take no prisoners" attitude today.

2. What can I do today that is an improvement on yesterday?

(Answer). I can have a compelling workout and a vigilant, healthful diet.

3. What can I do today to brighten up my wife's day?

(Answer). I can put two loads of laundry in the wash. I can mop the bathroom.

Here is specifically what I commit to myself and to all of you that I will do today:

1. I will have a compelling workout today.

2. I will eat reasonably throughout the day.

3. I will have a legendary attitude at work today in all things that I do and say.

4. I will generate at least $6,000 in business quotes today.

5. I will do two loads of laundry at home and mop the bathroom.

6. I will write my wife a love letter and mail it.

7. I will pay our bills today.

O.K. gang. I am totally pumped!!!! I'll let you all know how I did at the end of the day. I really hope that many of you are inspired to join me in reaching your own goals today!!!

P.S. I especially liked his 'take no prisoners' attitude. Reminded me of a company contest I participated in, and our credo was - 'Ambush at will, Take no prisoners!' We won that contest by the way.
