Increase Profits With PLR Products

You see them everywhere these days… on membership websites, as packaged offers, as giveaways, and even as bonuses for certain offers. We’re taking about PLR products.

PLR, of course, refers to private label rights, or the license that would enable the holder to alter or modify the contents of the same and even include his name as the author thereof.

Normally, PLR products also come with master resale rights, or the license to see the resale rights of the same products, provided that they are significantly altered from their original form.

The surging popularity of PLR products can be attributed to a variety of reasons. Let’s take a look at them.

· PLR products are more affordable alternatives to actually preparing your own goods. Since PLR products are sold to a lot of people, the cost is shared in common by the would-be purchasers.

100 PLR articles, for example, can cost you around $15 to $10, whereas hiring a ghostwriter to prepare the same amount of articles would set you back around $500 to $1,500 in investment expenses.

· PLR products give you the liberty equivalent to that of the creator’s. You could, technically speaking, do whatever you want with the PLR products you have purchased.

· PLR products will save you a lot of time. They’re already there, ready to be utilized. You won’t have to start from the ground up.

There are many kinds of PLR products available today. There are the aforementioned PLR articles. There are also PLR eBooks and special reports. And there are PLR scripts and software programs.

There are even PLR websites ready to make some serious money as all you have to do is to upload them to a web server.

So, how do you profit from the PLR products you will purchase? Let’s take a look at the approaches you could take.

1. If the license would allow you to resell the PLR products as they are, you could start making money immediately by marketing the same as soon as you get them.

2. If you purchase PLR articles, you could modify each to make the unique and build content sites around them. Put your AdSense code on such websites, market them, then watch your PPC earnings grow.

3. The same PLR articles can also be compiled into eBooks or special reports which you could sell for profit.

4. You could use the same PLR articles as they are as fodders for your autoresponder series. This would give your follow-up system some serious meat, as most of these PLR articles are very informative already.

Are you maintaining an eZine? Select from your PLR articles the contents which are appropriate to the theme of your newsletter.

5. You could use the PLR products as bonuses for the offers you have built campaigns for. Selling your own products? Bundle them with PLR products to increase their value.

Promoting an affiliate merchant’s products? Offer the PLR products you have bought as incentive for anyone who would order the merchant’s products through your affiliate links.

6. You could also use your PLR products as supplemental materials for your sales page. Do you have a highly informative piece in one of your PLR purchases? Clip the same and paste it on a box inside your sales page so that your readers can refer to it to complement whatever you will share on the main parts of your sales copy.

These are just some of the things you could do with your PLR articles. The possibilities are quite endless, further establishing these PLR goodies as fantastic options for your marketing needs.

See you later.

Basic Internet Marketing Strategy

6 Basics of Internet Marketing

Internet marketing means different things to different people. You should first of all learn about the various ways you could market on the Internet. Basic Internet marketing includes owning a website, creating blogs, ezines, email marketing, using proper keyword phrase, etc. to sell your products online.

1. Have your own website -
Having your own website is the basic step in Internet marketing. Creating your own website is not hard these days. There are a number of different software packages available online that you could purchase to create your website. You could hire a professional to design your site if you could afford to pay a price. But it is necessary for you to learn HTML at some point so that you could make changes on your site whenever there is a need.

2. Create a blog -
Blogs are one of the most recent and most popular means of Internet marketing today. You could write about your product or services on your blog. You could make use of streaming videos or audios to demonstrate your product online. Blogs are free. You get to advertise about your product without paying a penny and you could also give a back link to your website, which is allowed by most of the blog websites.

3. Advertise -
There are two types of Internet advertising – free and paid advertising. You could make use of both depending upon your budget. Paid advertising mostly includes pay per click advertising, classified ads in ezines, banner ads, purchasing hits to your website, etc. free advertising includes forums, blogs, classified ads, link exchanges, article directories, etc. where you inform your target customers about your products or service and lead them to your site through a link to your webpage.

4. Ezines -
You publish your own email newsletter through an ezine, which is called electronic mail or email magazine. Ezines are filled with a lot of product information. This is one of the favorite venues used by Internet marketers for their online business. You could build up a mailing list of opt in subscribers to whom you send out your product promotions and sales and latest information about your products or service. Adding your website address in your newsletter gets you more traffic.

5. Email marketing -
Email marketing is yet another way to get across to thousands of people about your online business for a reasonable price. You could advertise a landing page that offers valuable information or freebies in exchange for visitor’s name and email address. Placing a sign up form on every web page you create is also helpful in building your mailing list.

6. Keyword research -
Do your keyword research before you publish your website online. Most popular keywords would fetch you more traffic to your site.

A website carefully designed with good colors, chosen keywords, valuable content and good advertising could generate high traffic. High traffic could lead to more sales and profits, but that will be covered in another article.

Full Time Online Income - What's The Chances?

Is it Possible to Earn a Fulltime Income Online?

Most of us have seen numerous adverts promoting programs that will earn us yachts and mansions for only a few dollars investment. Too good to be true? Unfortunately yes.

Most of the time you will waste time and money with these programs. So is there a way to make a full time income from only working online a few hours per day?

The short answer is yes but you need to put in a lot more time than a few hours per day to start with. Over the past 6 months I have worked up to 12 hours per day building an income to replace the one I lost when I left my previous job.

It takes dedication and focus and slowly but surely your income will grow to the point that you can cut back your hours and get some quality time with your family.

The first thing you need to do is to sit down and have a long hard think about what you want from life. I would bet that most of you will at first think about the fast cars and mansions and the celebrity lifestyles that are depicted in many aspirational adverts.

However think harder, these are things you would like to have, not what you want from life.

If after you’ve thought deeply you decide that you want to see your family grow up, you want to be able to make it to your children’s school concert and not have to work late on that important project.

If you decide that you want to be able to take your wife for a romantic lunch before you collect the kids from school then you have the correct frame of mind to start making an income for yourself.

If you don’t have a family and you decide you want to be self reliant and not a wage slave then you are on the way. Be realistic and you won’t be disappointed.

Now you know what you want and you know it’s realistic it’s time to get yourself a strategy. I like to think of my income building strategy in terms of building a house, before you put up the walls and roof, the part of the house you can see and admire you need to put in the foundations.

The foundation of your income has to be a steady source of reliable income that you can build on. For this I built a number of content websites and monetized them by adding Adverts and Amazon feeds. I write articles and submit them to directories.

I do everything I can to get the sites into the search engines and get traffic to them. Once the visitors started coming and I was getting a steady income then it’s time to branch out and work on the 4 walls of our strategy.

The second part of the strategy involves taking some profit from the site building and investing it in well researched programs that have a long history of paying out.

You need to do your research and due diligence here and spread the risk among a number of programs if you have any doubts about a program walk away. Now you have your foundation and 4 walls in place it’s time to top it all off with the roof.

The Roof like in your house is the top level of our strategy, this is where you take everything you have learned building your foundations and walls and apply it to your own programs, by now you will know what works, you will have developed a network of contacts through programs and forums and you are ready to develop your own programs.

The great thing about this strategy is that if you have no spare cash you can start out with very little, in fact it is possible to start out with $0.00 and turn this into a full-time income by clever use of resources.

If you don’t believe that this is possible then have a look at the blog detailed in the resource box at the end of this article and watch start with $0.00 and prove there is such a thing as a free lunch.

Remember be focused and realistic and a full time income is within your grasp.

Create Interest For Your Product With A Great Sales Letter

Top Ten Ways to Write a Sales Letter for Each Product or Service

Perhaps you have a book out, or a wonderful service that helps people make their lives better. Authors/publishers are great at getting their books written. Entrepreneurs know their products. But after the initial one-year honeymoon, sales slow down.

To counter this make sure your ebook, product, or service you offer will keep on selling from the first day, the first year, even for life. Write a short sales letter for each product or ebook.

Whether you have a Web site or not, you can write a first class, must-buy-now sales letter. Write one for each teleclass, eBook, product, or service. I even write one for my bookcoaching services.

If you are like me and have a Web site, it is content driven. Why? Because that's why people come to any site--to get free information. You must also give them a reason to buy. Most home pages say too much about the author or the book instead of intriguing their potential buyers with a benefit- driven headline, which in turns leads them to the benefits of their books--the sales letter.

My first Web site had many fine books and kits in personal growth and book writing and marketing. Sales never went over $200 a month. To correct that, I created a new site and paid special attention to its sales language (without hype) for each teleclass, eBook, and book coaching opportunities to suit each income and need. Sales were $75 the first month, and in four months they reached $2265. One year later, and today, over $4000 a month. You can boost your sales too.

What Every Sales Letter Needs to Pull Orders and Profits

You can write each sales letter in less than four hours the first time. As you practice, you can write them in two hours.

1. Start the Letter with a Benefit-Driven Headline.

Include these headlines throughout your sales letter. "Want a quick and easy way to quadruple your Online Income in Four Months?

If you answered, "yes" to yourself, the headline succeeds, because you will keep reading. If you said "No, I don't believe this, " but I'm curious where this is going," the headline still succeeds. You win when your headline seduces your potential customer to read on in your sales letter to discover your product's benefits and features, some fine testimonials, and finally to click "buy now" which takes them to the order page.

2. List the Top Five Benefits of your Product or Service in bullet form.

To define your top benefits start with a list of problems your client or customer wants solutions for. Each specific problem you answer can be labeled a benefit. If you are not rock sure of who your audience is, your sales copy dribbles away and doesn't meet its target. Keep redefining your audience and know as much about them as you can.

Remember that one benefit is the top undeniable benefit—usually more money easier, more clients faster, more profits from Web sales, better relationships, and health.

If you have more than five benefits collected in a list, sprinkle the rest throughout your copy. How will your book make someone's life easier, richer in time or money, help their personal growth, provide additional income, entertain them? How will your product or service make them a better business person, more attractive, feel better, avoid catastrophe, sickness, or surgery?

3. Address your Potential Buyer's Resistances.

Remember to tell a background story of where they are NOW so they will emotionally connect with your solutions (the product or service). Let's say they want to write an eBook or print book to make themselves the "expert," make life-long passive income, or share their unique message.

Many people don't write a book because they doubt it will sell well enough for all the effort, it may not be significant enough, it will take too long, cost too much money, and they really aren't writers. One, by one, your sales letter addresses their concerns and shows these potential buyers how they can become an excellent author and make their books more saleable, while building their profits.

4. Sprinkle Testimonials Throughout your Sales Letter.

Potential buyers who visit your site or another one that sells your products are more pulled to buy when they think other people have already. If other people are happy with your product or service, they will be too.

Include testimonials from experts in your field, celebrities, man/woman on the street, and other people who have profited from your advice. Learn how to approach influential contacts through email friendly notes and requests. Ask them to look at and give their opinion on your table of contents, one chapter, and your back cover or sales letter information

Give as you receive. Give that person something of value. Study their Web site or read their ezine, and send them a short helpful tip or joke.

5. Offer your potential clients three or four chances to buy.

They may have already decided to buy before coming to your sales letter, so offer a "Click Here," "Buy Now" near the top of the letter. Offer more buying opportunities along the way after a list of benefits, what's in this book (features),and testimonials.

6. End your Sales Letter with your 100% Money-Back Guarantee.

When you offer an iron-clad guarantee, people see your book as so valuable that you put yourself on the line for it. They will be more likely to buy and be satisfied with their purchase.

"This product comes with a 100% Money Back Guarantee. Read the book cover to cover, and if the strategies don't work for you within 60 days, we'll cheerfully refund your money, and you can keep the product too!"

7. Make your Sales Letter Credible.

To boost sales, authors need to add free bonus reports related to their book. Make sure your free bonus reports do not cost more than the price of your product. Would you believe this offer "order this for $49 now and receive 4 special bonus reports worth $395?"

8. Share the downside of your book to create empathy.

For example, "this ebook won't write the book for you, or even get it published, but it will show you the steps and resources to write compelling copy, finish fully and sell well."

9. Include your expert credentials

"I spent 6 months researching this book and 3 months writing it. My background includes 23 years coaching, presenting 80 writing seminars a year, and 52 published clients since 1999."

Without a sales letter to guide your potential buyers on your Web site, you leave them bored, uninspired, without enough information to make that decision to buy. Your Web site and ezine must entertain, inform, and give enough benefits to convince your readers to order your book.

For all email promotion campaigns, without a short or long sales letter for each product, your unique, useful and inspiring information will not get read, people won't know you as the expert, and you won't make the sales you want.

It's Just Business - Charge The Proper Price For Value Received

I love this article from The Ezine Queen . . .

Too many times I see people charging a lot less than they should be and then wonder why their company cannot make a profit. --- Duhhh.

How to Charge More and Work Less
By Alexandria K. Brown, "The E-zine Queen"

I remember when I first launched my first business as a copywriter seven years ago, I had no clue what to charge. Without putting hard thought into what type of results my work gave my clients, I started out with an hourly rate that didn't scare ME! I would still even stutter when I said to clients, "My rate is si- si- si- sixty dollars an hour." Deep down, I wasn't confident in myself, so of course I wouldn't let myself charge more. And of course, as a result I attracted lame clients, worked like a dog, and stayed broke all the time.

Well, things are VERY different today. I have no problem saying my consulting rate is $500 an hour, or that a private mentorship with me starts at a minimum of $9,700. And, here's the kicker: Because I take on so few clients now, at higher rates, and the bulk of my income comes from information products, I work LESS than I used to!

Obviously this shift didn't happen overnight. Here are a few things you can do NOW to move in the same direction:

1. Become an expert in something.

Experts are more respected, get media attention, get paid more, and get less price resistance (meaning people are happier to pay you what you ask). I went from being a general copywriter to one who specialized in newsletters. Then in email newsletters.

Then I dubbed myself "The Ezine Queen". I had no idea at the time how much that would help me get famous and be remembered. Did you know that Muhammad Ali became known as "The Greatest" because Ali himself said it? Yep -- he just kept saying it, and then eventually so did the media!

There's a reason people happily pay more to get to the wise man at the TOP of the mountain! (Meanwhile the man at the bottom can't even seem to give it away.)

2. Raise your rates.

This may seem like a given, but you wouldn't believe the resistance I get from clients when I poke and prod them about this. Last year, I hired a personal trainer for a few months who only charged $50 an hour. Honestly, because his rate was so low compared to other trainers in the area, I was worried he wouldn't be that good. I learned he was actually great.

He often complained that his schedule was so jammed it was killing him. To make a living at that rate, he obviously had to take on clients morning, noon, night, and weekends. He was also disorganized, frazzled, and late most of the time due to his schedule.

He had no idea that he was such a good trainer I would have been happy to pay him $75 or even $100 an hour for his time. I remember suggesting he raise his rates, and he replied, "But then not as many people would work with me."

Well of course! That's the idea. Let's say he decided to double his rates, and half of his clients dropped off. Why wouldn't you want to work HALF as hard as you are now for the same income? This also opens up more time for you to work on new projects, like creating information products and programs. (See #5.)

If you're having trouble raising your rates across the board, bring in fresh clients your new rate, maintain old clients at current rates, and drop off clients that are pains in your bum.

3. Restructure how clients can work with you.

For many solo-professionals, a much better way to approach working with clients is on a project basis, or "flat fee". That way you simply assign a value to the *results* you're giving them. For example, my friend Lorrie Morgan-Ferrero is a copywriter who charges $10,000 to write a sales letter. Does that price-out some clients who can't afford her? Of course! But she much prefers to work on a few projects at a time with stellar clients who truly value her work.

Or instead of taking on one-shot projects, work with clients on retainer (a set fee per month) or require them to sign up for a number of months with you. One trend in coaching and consulting right now is moving toward six-month or annual contracts with clients. Not only does it help guarantee your cash flow, but you attract better, more qualified, and more committed clients.

Example: After I was tired of doing so many one-shot consultations, I created my VIP Private Access Mentorship Program so I could only work with a handful of select people at a time and coach them closely for several months. Right now the program costs between $9,700 and $16,700. It's especially rewarding for me to see my clients implement the recommendations I make, follow along with their progress, and share in their sales successes!

4. "Clone" Yourself.

Have you ever wanted a "Mini Me?" Or a whole team of them? Well there's no reason you can't. If you have a duplicatable system or process you use in your work, why not teach others how to do the same? Then have them work for you on a freelance basis, or consider "licensing" people to use your method or teachings.

Consider working with a team of other coaches and consultants. For example, one of my early life coaches, Talane Miedaner, offered me this choice when I was interested in coaching: Be coached by her personally for a high fee, or work with one of her associate coaches at a lower rate.

Because I wanted her personal help, I paid her the higher fee and she did all the work. But if I chose one of the other coaches, I'd still pay her company, the associate would do all the coaching work, and Talane would keep a good portion of the fee. (Smart lady!)

5. Create and Sell Information Products

If you've read other articles of mine, you know I'm a big fan of transcending the exchange of time for money. You simply will never make the big bucks if you keep getting paid solely for your time. I'm at the point now that about 90% of my income comes from selling my knowledge via information products such as ebooks, manuals, courses, audio programs, and occasional live events. This has helped me almost TRIPLE my income in the past two years!

Instead of "work, get paid" ... you want "work, get paid, paid, paid, paid, paid, paid, paid, paid, paid!" I may spend a good chunk of time creating a new product, but then it can sell forever. I may put a lot of effort into creating a one-time seminar, but I also record it and create a home-study version that can sell forever. (I did this with my recent Online Success Blueprint Workshop.)

I hope you get the idea! There are many other strategies to restructure your fees and leverage your knowledge, but these are great ways to get started.
